Responsibilities
- Oversee all front desk operations during weekend shifts, including check-in/out procedures and guest assistance
- Train and mentor part-time staff on service standards and hotel systems
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Monitor inventory and operational supplies to maintain service excellence
- Collaborate with housekeeping and F&B departments for cohesive guest experiences
- Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures during peak weekend hours
- Generate daily shift reports and performance metrics for management review
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel supervisory experience required
- Proficiency in Opera PMS and hotel management software
- Flexible weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 7am-11pm shifts)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish a plus
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Valid Illinois Food Handler's Certificate preferred
