Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (2026-2030) and assess market viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, generative AI, and biotech convergence
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech initiatives with business objectives
- Build and manage cross-functional innovation pods with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present visionary frameworks to investors and industry thought leaders
- Drive patent strategy for next-gen IP portfolios
- Mentor emerging talent in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or hypergrowth startups
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, climate tech, or neurotech
- Proven track record of launching market-defining tech products
- Published thought leadership in leading tech journals (e.g., Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Experience with scenario planning for complex tech ecosystems
- Strong network with academic and industry innovation leaders
