Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with MIT and Stanford partnerships
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations by 2026
- Present tech strategy to C-suite and external stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $5M annual R&D budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Author whitepapers on future tech ethics and governance frameworks
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Published research in AI, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Proven experience with scenario planning and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep understanding of Web3, neuromorphic computing, and climate tech
- Certified in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPS preferred)
- Portfolio of successful tech commercialization projects
- Fluency in Mandarin or Spanish (for global partnerships)
