Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, bio-convergence) to inform 5-year strategic planning
- Develop proprietary foresight frameworks for scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present trend forecasts and strategic recommendations to the executive board
- Build and maintain an expert network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through pilot programs and proof-of-concepts
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026+ industry transformations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Experience with Delphi method, causal layered analysis, and other foresight tools
