Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, integrating quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neuro-interface systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary 'Future Labs' prototyping sessions with MIT-caliber researchers and industry disruptors
- Develop market-entry strategies for technologies with 5-7 year commercialization horizons
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members using immersive data visualizations
- Establish partnerships with frontier research institutions including DARPA and Singularity University
- Drive ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring responsible innovation
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists through patent development and IP strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in technology strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Proven track record of commercializing speculative technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology roadmapping, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technology convergence patterns (AI+Quantum+Biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ paradigm-shifting innovations brought to market
