Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology landscapes
- Design and execute innovation roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Partner with C-suite to align strategic initiatives with long-term vision
- Manage portfolio of pre-commercial R&D projects with $5M+ budgets
- Drive thought leadership through white papers, patents, and industry forums
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams in agile innovation methodologies
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological readiness and market impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in strategic foresight
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Innovation
- Exceptional stakeholder management across global organizations
- Published research or patents in disruptive technologies
- Experience leading teams of 15+ technical professionals
