Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead moonshot projects with $500K-$2M innovation budgets
- Partner with MIT, Stanford, and NASA on emerging tech initiatives
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite and board of directors
- Build and mentor a team of 5-7 futurist researchers
- Secure patents for breakthrough innovations (target: 10+ annually)
- Organize global symposiums on future technology trends
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in futurism/innovation
- PhD in AI, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent)
- Published author in technology foresight (e.g., IEEE, Nature)
- Proven track record of scaling innovations to $100M+ revenue
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Security clearance eligibility (government partnerships required)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
