Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2026 horizon) through market research, patent analysis, and global innovation scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 5-year technological forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate breakthrough solutions for future market needs
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen technologies
- Present insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting long-term tech adoption
- Maintain a 'Future Radar' dashboard tracking 200+ emerging indicators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or R&D with proven 5+ year forecasting experience
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in enterprise environments
