Responsibilities
- Forecast and map technology trajectories for 2026+ across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and space exploration
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and global sustainability imperatives
- Lead cross-functional labs (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech) with $500K+ annual budgets
- Interface with C-suite executives and government agencies to shape policy frameworks for emerging technologies
- Author white papers and TED-style talks that position Visionary Labs as the 2026 thought leader
- Manage a portfolio of 10+ moonshot projects with 18-month development cycles
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent interdisciplinary expertise
- 5+ years in strategic foresight with proven impact on 2020-2025 tech adoption curves
- Published author in Nature Futures or similar peer-reviewed foresight journals
- Deep fluency in exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI safety
- Experience securing $1M+ in innovation grants from NSF, DARPA, or Horizon Europe
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully commercialized futuristic innovations
- Certified in Strategic Foresight (CSSF) and Systems Dynamics (MIT)
