Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-focused products/services
- Author thought leadership reports on disruptive technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-ready principles into organizational DNA
- Curate global innovation ecosystems through partnerships with academia and startups
- Mentor internal 'Future Scouts' to identify emerging opportunities
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and board members
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 7+ years experience in innovation consulting or corporate strategy
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented initiatives
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex futures
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and scenario planning projects
- Experience scaling agile innovation frameworks in enterprise environments
