Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology and market trend forecasts using advanced scenario planning and data modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic concepts (AI ethics, quantum computing, neurotech)
- Design strategic roadmaps for emerging domains: metaverse integration, climate tech breakthroughs, and bio-digital convergence
- Partner with R&D to accelerate commercialization of 2026-relevant innovations
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership at global future-tech forums
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies to ensure responsible adoption
- Build and lead a specialized futurist task force with external experts and academic partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing futuristic concepts
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Strong background in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation (required)
