Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 innovation roadmaps by analyzing convergence signals across biotechnology, quantum systems, and AI
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with C-suite executives to translate foresight into strategic initiatives
- Produce quarterly trend briefings identifying paradigm shifts with 18-month predictive accuracy
- Architect ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring responsible commercialization
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present future scenarios to board members and investors securing multi-million dollar allocations
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent with 8+ years strategic foresight experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proficiency in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and cross-impact matrix analysis
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Experience presenting to C-suite audiences on transformational topics
- Published thought leadership in futurist or innovation journals
