Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, etc.)
- Establish partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global research institutions
- Present future-vision briefings to Fortune 500 clients and investors
- Drive commercialization of 3-5 breakthrough technologies annually
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
- Monitor emerging tech trends (Web4.0, sentient AI, climate tech) and assess market readiness
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through strategic proposals
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum, bio-digital, climate tech)
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Nature Futures)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and trend analysis methodologies
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related discipline
