Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy, identifying emerging trends and disruptive innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams in conceptualizing and prototyping next-gen solutions for market readiness
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry pioneers to accelerate innovation
- Present visionary roadmaps to stakeholders, translating complex futures into compelling business cases
- Oversee the development of patent-pending technologies targeting 2026 commercialization milestones
- Mentor a team of futurists and researchers in advanced scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology development
- Proven track record of launching products that define future market segments
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Exceptional command of scenario planning tools and futures research methodologies
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ years of published foresight work with measurable industry impact
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets and managing cross-continental innovation teams
