Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026+ innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design and implement R&D frameworks for future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with long-term business strategy
- Present visionary insights to investors, partners, and industry thought leaders
- Build and mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for 2026 technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, neurotech, climate tech)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/ventures
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with global stakeholder management and executive communication
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
