Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps identifying disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum systems, and climate tech
- Lead cross-disciplinary workshops with C-suite executives and research institutions to forecast market shifts
- Produce high-impact scenario analyses and white papers published in top-tier journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and incubate 2026-focused startups
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist forums including Davos and Singularity Summit
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related quantitative field
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight with Fortune 500 or leading research institutions
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures/technology journals
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep technical fluency in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic chips)
- Track record of influencing multi-billion dollar strategic decisions
- Professional certification from Association of Professional Futurists
