Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate tech to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Lead scenario planning for technological black swan events
- Partner with R&D teams to accelerate prototype development from concept to market
- Present future outlooks to investors and executive stakeholders
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technology adoption
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or climate tech
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent foresight methodology
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning and risk modeling tools
- PhD or Master's in Technology, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
