- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable implementation timelines
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for early tech access
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment horizons
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic consulting or corporate foresight with tech sector focus
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle analysis
- Deep understanding of AI, blockchain, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech innovation (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies preferred
- Experience with predictive analytics tools (GPT-4, Palantir, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5-10 year strategic implementations
