Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology foresight frameworks through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on future market disruptions
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate emerging tech innovations into 5-year roadmaps
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future-state vision to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight practice
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused thought leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience leading cross-organizational innovation initiatives
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio of published future scenarios or strategic forecasts
