Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for technologies impacting 2026 (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging market opportunities in Web4.0 and decentralized systems
- Produce actionable foresight reports for executive decision-making and investor relations
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs with Fortune 500 partners
- Represent company at global future-focused conferences (e.g., Davos, SXSW 2026)
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight ecosystem
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI governance, climate tech, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership on 2026+ technology implications
- Experience building scenarios and strategic roadmaps for complex systems
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Track record influencing C-suite strategy in Fortune 500 environments
