Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience, quantum computing) to identify disruptive opportunities and risks for 2026+
- Develop and maintain a strategic foresight framework with quarterly horizon scanning and trend impact assessments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future-state scenarios and innovation roadmaps
- Present future insights to executive leadership through compelling data narratives and visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry pioneers to accelerate foresight capabilities
- Champion a culture of strategic experimentation by prototyping future-oriented concepts
- Monitor and evaluate strategic initiatives against future benchmarks and adjust execution accordingly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-focused strategy implementations
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) strongly preferred
- Experience working with C-suite in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
