Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, climate, and societal trends to map 2026-2030 innovation pathways
- Develop strategic frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite to embed foresight into product development and investment decisions
- Author trend reports and white papers published in industry-leading publications
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI governance, climate tech, or neurotech
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Published thought leadership in tech or sustainability journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and executive domains
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) preferred
