Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026-2030 strategic foresight framework for emerging technologies
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive innovation trends
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prioritize moonshot projects with 10-year impact potential
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports for industry stakeholders and policymakers
- Build and manage a global network of futurist thought leaders and academic partners
- Translate complex future scenarios into product roadmaps and investment theses
- Advose on ethical implications of emerging technologies (neurotech, AGI, synthetic biology)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futures research, or disruptive innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- Proven track record of influencing enterprise-level strategic decisions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, WFS) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or innovation frameworks
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Kumu, Causal Mapping)
