Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends
- Produce annual '2026 Vision Reports' with data-driven forecasts and strategic recommendations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on emerging opportunities and threats
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Design scenario-planning models for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate resilience
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience developing scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Deloitte Tech Trends)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
