Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technological, economic, and social trends through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product innovations aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, quantum computing, and biotech domains
- Author thought leadership whitepapers and presentations on future-facing business models
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate next-generation concepts
- Advise executive leadership on disruptive market opportunities and existential threats
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Business Strategy, or Future Studies with 5+ years of experience in innovation or strategic foresight
- Proven track record in developing long-term technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or Web3
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong data storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating past futurist projects or trend analysis publications
