Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze technological, social, and economic trends shaping 2026 through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to guide R&D investments and innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product roadmaps and business models
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable executive recommendations
- Monitor emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces) for competitive advantage
- Present foresight insights to investors, board members, and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of successfully forecasting market shifts and technological disruptions
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI ethics, biotech regulation, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to visualize and communicate future scenarios
- Experience with strategic planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-oriented strategies
