Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and socioeconomic indicators to forecast industry disruptions by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum adoption, AGI integration, and climate-resilient infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product roadmaps with future market demands
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces on emerging tech ethics and governance
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify next-generation startups for strategic partnerships
- Design immersive simulations to test organizational resilience against black-swan events
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic consulting, tech innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for complex systems
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, bioinformatics, Web3, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field required
- Proficiency in foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (STEEP, STEEPLE, PESTLE)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
