Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating breakthrough innovations into enterprise ecosystems
- Conduct scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients on future tech adoption
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Manage cross-functional R&D sprints prototyping next-gen solutions
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic factors influencing tech adoption timelines
- Build and maintain an expert network of academic, industry, and government innovators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in tech strategy consulting or corporate innovation roles
- Proven track record in forecasting disruptive technologies with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology domains
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in horizon scanning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Experience working with C-suite in Fortune 500 environments
