- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Design ethical frameworks for deploying advanced AI and biotech systems
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and partnerships with research institutions
- Mentor junior futurists in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with proven experience in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio of implemented innovation frameworks or published research
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI safety, or climate tech
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP) or equivalent
- Track record of securing funding for experimental tech initiatives
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
