Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for 2026-era technology adoption across multiple sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation AI, biotech, and quantum computing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for executive stakeholders
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $5M for forward-looking initiatives
- Publish thought leadership content in leading tech publications and industry forums
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development, or neurotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model long-term technology adoption curves
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem and global innovation hubs
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Experience securing government grants and private investment for futuristic projects
