Responsibilities
- Lead strategic innovation initiatives for 2026+ technology roadmap
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, bio-convergence)
- Develop proof-of-concepts and rapid prototyping frameworks
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design, and business teams
- Secure and manage innovation grants and venture partnerships
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Build and mentor an innovation lab team of 8-10 specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching breakthrough products (3+ launches)
- Expertise in emerging tech trends (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding/grants
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Innovation Management
- Strong patent portfolio or published research
- Exceptional strategic thinking and execution capabilities
