Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 technology horizon trends
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum-resistant cryptography and generative AI applications
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscaping for emerging technologies
- Partner with product teams to integrate breakthrough innovations into commercial offerings
- Present strategic findings to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of experimental learning
- Manage innovation lab budgets and vendor partnerships for cutting-edge tools
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or technology foresight roles
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech and academic ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 5 to 50+ members
