Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts by 2026
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps with measurable impact on revenue and sustainability
- Champion experimental R&D projects in AI ethics, quantum algorithms, and neurotech integration
- Partner with VPs to align innovation strategy with corporate ESG and DEI objectives
- Present findings to C-suite and external stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile innovation methodologies and futures thinking
- Secure $500K+ annually in innovation grants and strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record launching products with 7-figure revenue impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and innovation frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Proficiency in AI/ML tools, blockchain analysis, and biotech convergence trends
- Experience securing venture capital or government innovation funding
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three 2025+ technology commercializations
