Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with 5-year strategic foresight
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing disruptive prototypes and market entry strategies
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech convergence, etc.)
- Present innovation blueprints to executive stakeholders and venture capital partners
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring long-term technological adoption impact
- Manage $15M annual innovation portfolio allocation across 3-5 strategic initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology convergence trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or future technology consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in horizon scanning and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 market-disrupting innovations launched since 2020
- Fluency in emerging tech frameworks (Gartner Hype Cycle, TechScape analysis)
