Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps identifying disruptive trends and market inflection points
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate futuristic concepts (e.g., neural interfaces, AGI frameworks)
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation hubs worldwide
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Design governance frameworks for emerging technologies balancing innovation and ethical considerations
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with $10M+ budgets
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or advanced degree in relevant field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or patented innovations
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
