Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for R&D initiatives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget with quarterly ROI optimization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in emerging technology strategy or corporate innovation
- Proven track record launching products/services with 2025+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Experience managing cross-continental R&D teams and budgets >$3M
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology ethics
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
