Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning cutting-edge technologies with market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in AI ethics, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and board members, securing buy-in for ambitious initiatives
- Manage a $10M+ innovation portfolio, balancing high-risk experiments with scalable commercial applications
- Foster a culture of radical innovation through workshops, hackathons, and thought leadership
- Partner with global R&D centers to synchronize breakthrough developments across FutureWorks' ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products generating >$50M revenue
- PhD or Master's degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and predict market disruptions
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF) strongly desired
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ futurist frameworks successfully implemented in commercial settings
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/R) and data visualization tools
