Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing hybrid quantum-AI frameworks for 2026 applications
- Design and execute cutting-edge experiments in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers quarterly in top-tier scientific journals
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize breakthrough technologies
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum computing methodologies
- Present findings at global conferences including IEEE Quantum Week and NeurIPS
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Physics with 8+ years research experience
- Published 20+ papers in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Proven track record of securing federal research funding
- Strong proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum computing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
