Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for 2026 technological requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic computing)
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid system blueprints for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-coherence engineering
- Author technical whitepapers and patent innovations in quantum computational methods
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithm development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance system design
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and error correction methodologies
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and photonic interfaces
- Strong background in distributed computing and parallel processing
