Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and technological disruptions to forecast industry evolution through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a proprietary horizon-scanning intelligence system
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing initiatives
- Publish thought leadership on emerging paradigms in future studies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into business strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Published work in futurism or technology innovation (portfolio required)
- Experience with strategic planning tools and data visualization platforms
