Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2030
- Develop and publish quarterly Future Briefs translating complex trend data into strategic business recommendations
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed foresight into corporate strategy, R&D, and product roadmaps
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with cross-functional teams to prototype future scenarios
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Present trend analyses to investors, clients, and industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market advantage
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and pattern recognition
- Strong data visualization skills with proficiency in trend analysis tools
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation domains
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex concepts
- Experience with AI ethics, biotechnology convergence, or quantum computing applications
