Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead quarterly innovation workshops with engineering, product, and design teams to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Produce high-impact visualizations and reports on emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, climate tech)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for early trend identification
- Advise executive leadership on disruptive threats and opportunities in global markets
- Curate and maintain a proprietary knowledge base of forward-looking signals
- Represent the company at industry conferences as a thought leader on future trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in corporate innovation, strategy consulting, or R&D with future-planning focus
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning tools
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, sustainable energy)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic roadmaps
