- Lead cross-functional teams through agile development cycles for rapid prototyping and MVP delivery
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling stakeholder presentations and ROI modeling
- Establish strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley VCs, academic institutions, and industry pioneers
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks ensuring responsible deployment of breakthrough technologies
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to board of directors and executive leadership team
- Mentor next-gen innovators through internal incubator programs and industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in future-casting methodologies including horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Successful management of $10M+ budgets with P&L responsibility for innovation divisions
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience scaling startups from concept to IPO or corporate innovation labs
- Deep network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem (VCs, founders, research institutions)
- Proficiency in agile, design thinking, and lean innovation frameworks
