Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead research and development initiatives in emerging technologies including quantum computing, biotech convergence, and autonomous systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks and future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a $10M+ innovation portfolio, allocating resources to high-impact projects
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers on future-focused methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical and market shifts to anticipate disruptive opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products post-2020
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Deep technical knowledge in at least two emerging domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology journals
- Experience leading cross-border, multicultural innovation teams
