Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams (AI, Quantum Computing, Biotech, Sustainability) in developing disruptive proof-of-concepts
- Secure $10M+ annual innovation budget through compelling C-level presentations and ROI modeling
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Develop and implement agile innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and market validation
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting 2026 technology landscapes
- Mentor a team of 15+ innovation specialists across R&D, design, and commercialization domains
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology leadership with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level roles
- PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record of scaling innovations to $50M+ revenue streams
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, Quantum, Biotech, Web3, AR/VR)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier industry publications
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA, NSF)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and futures forecasting frameworks
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to inspire stakeholders across technical and business domains
