Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify high-impact opportunities in biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Present innovation frameworks and strategic recommendations to the board of directors and key stakeholders
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI tracking and risk mitigation protocols
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futures research with demonstrable impact on market-defining products
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related technical field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, WFS)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures scenarios to diverse audiences
- Experience managing global innovation teams and cross-cultural partnerships
