Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching, prototyping, and launching breakthrough technologies
- Secure executive sponsorship and manage stakeholder expectations across all departments
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for innovation initiatives, tracking ROI and impact
- Mentor junior innovators and cultivate a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and external partners at industry forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in strategic innovation roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining tech products
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation
- PMP or equivalent innovation certification preferred
- Deep understanding of technology adoption lifecycle and market timing
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives from concept to scale
