Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for 2026+ market readiness
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, neuromorphic computing) and their commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging hardware, software, and biological systems
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Build global consortiums for standards development in emerging tech domains
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 10+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience scaling tech initiatives from concept to $100M+ revenue
- Certified in Strategic Foresight (CFP) and Technology Innovation Management
- Demonstrated ability to secure $50M+ in R&D funding
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ projects with 2026+ commercial viability
