Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $10M+ annual budgets
- Partner with government agencies on tech policy for 2026 digital infrastructure
- Identify and commercialize breakthrough innovations from academic research
- Mentor a team of 15+ engineers and futurists
- Present findings to C-suite boards and industry consortiums
- Secure patents for proprietary 2026-era systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 5+ in strategic innovation roles
- Published research in IEEE/ACM journals or equivalent
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
