Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap by forecasting quantum/AI convergence, biotech breakthroughs, and emerging human-machine interfaces
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate 2026-relevant solutions
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 innovation labs
- Develop patent portfolios for 2026-adjacent technologies in quantum AI and synthetic biology
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Drive commercialization of 2026 technologies through pilot programs and early adoption programs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting 2026 technology landscapes
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, Synthetic Biology, or related field
- 8+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-adjacent domains: quantum machine learning, neuro-interfaces, or climate-tech AI
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in government or corporate innovation grants
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio of launched technologies with $50M+ commercial impact
